Founded in 1991, Threetek´s main objective is to provide information and data in a reliable, fast and low priced way for geomatics users in Brazil. Combining data acquired from earth-observation satellites and other sources of information. Threetek is capable of supplying demands on projects related to urban and regional planning, environment, utilities, sustainable development and natural resource management.

Through the use of GeoTechnology and the development of new methodologies for data integration, Threetek has established essential partnerships with the most important and reliable software developers and geomatics data distributors in the world, such as PCI Geomatics Group Inc., Radarsat International (RADARSAT and ENVISAT), Space Imaging Inc. (IKONOS and IRS), ImageSat International (EROS) and Intermap Technologies. Also, it is important to emphasize Threetek´s association with research centers like INPE- National Spatial Research Institute, and COPPE / UFRJ- Rio de Janeiro Federal University.
